Who is Dark Lotus Entertainment?
Dark Lotus Entertainment began as Dark Lotus Photography. It began as a female ran photo studio based in Mesa, Arizona. Irene Silver started shooting photography under the name Dark Lotus Photo after 13 years in the industry as a professional model. Dark Lotus explores natural beauty and sensuality expressed through femininity with an importance placed on minimal editing and inclusion of all female presenting people. Dark Lotus Photography explores art in both artificial/studio settings and natural light spaces. She likes to play with concepts of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Glamour, Post-Apocalyptic Worlds, Cosplay, and Goth Culture.
IRENE SILVER
Irene started studying Photography in 2007 after a career in commercial and fashion modeling. She completed a four year intensive apprenticeship under a well respected fashion and editorial photographer in Scottsdale. Irene discovered a passion for creating unique and custom Portraiture works early on in her Photography career and started to develop her knowledge of set design shortly after to further expand her creative possibilities. Besides taking and editing the photos for the session, Irene designs and builds various sets, props and environments as well as pose coaches when requested. Irene's goal is to provide the model with unique expressive images that capture their beauty with ease!
JASPER FELIX
Jasper began studying photography under Irene in 2017. It started as him helping her to photograph new concepts and tests and blossomed into a passion of his own. During shoots Jasper helps set up the environment and equipment as well as take behind the scenes photos/videos when requested or permitted. Depending on the shoot Jasper will sometimes provide assistance as a second cameraman. Jasper is Dark Lotus' engineer and main carpenter for set builds and props for the shoots.
